iRinger
iRinger works as advertised allowing Windows users to convert audio or music into iPhone ringtones. I found the program very easy to use.

After recording friends with iPhone Recorder, it seemed logical to convert the recorded audio into ringtones for those friends. I don’t have a MAC and so can’t use popular MAC ringtone creator software. To do this on my Windows PC, audio from iPhone Recorder was loaded into Audacity and converted into WAV format. The WAV audio files were next loaded into iRinger which is easy to use, but just in case, the home page contains a short YouTube “howto” video to get you going.

After some audio tweaking within iRinger, the Export button stored new ringtones into iPhone’s ringtone folder. Then a standard synch, copied new ringtones to the iPhone and where they now appear as Custom Ringtones on the iPhone’s ringtone menu.
